In memory of Fajez ChebebThis is actually my sister Micaela Svensson Erlandsson
She is a rather known linedance choreographer that decided to chorograph a dance with an Arabaic motif, inspired by bellydancing (+ a little salsa and swing).
The dance became very popular in Asia, Canada and….well check out you tube.
She has since done dances inspired by Jewish, Russian and Finnish folkdancing in a way doable in linedancing.
PS: “Habibi” means “darling” or “beloved” in Arabic.
32 count, 2 wall, intermediate/advanced level, danced with 2 tags

I have told myself i´m going dancing tomorrow….and interstingly i find myself here blogging.
I know i should go to bed so i am prepared tomorrow but i have gotten into a rot where i stay up all night.
It is like the “yaaay, this is fun” center has been turned off.
Tomorrow is beginner and advanced Salsa.
Let´s hope i can kick my own butt down to the train.
If only it wasnt impossible to get to and from it when you live in the pile of snow i´m enjoying.
Last bus at weekends leaves at 2am.The bars close then to witch should seem perfect, unless you want to stay iout longer (and perhaps you´re not sure if you´re going home).
Sure it IS a town but has just as much of smalltown feel as metropol.
Now that my dance instructor messed up things and so on it left me with nothing to do.
Who would have known i would one day find myself without friends and without anything to activate me.
Instead i´ve got this.
